An accomplished executive and advisory leader in infrastructure and large project businesses, with over 20 years of experience managing and implementing large-scale organisational and project change.
Since 2016 we have worked at the sharp end of capital projects — the contracts, the claims, the closeouts — helping organisations keep the value they set out to create.
Our story
Kwemvelo Concepts is a management consultancy and advisory firm founded in 2016, rooted in a legacy of innovation and built around a simple observation: the commercial outcome of a project is decided by people who understand how the work is actually done.
Our ethos is grounded in our status as a majority black-owned company — a commitment to diversity, inclusion and the deliberate development of emerging talent, not as a compliance exercise but as the way the firm is built. We hold a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor rating.
What sets us apart is a holistic approach to problem-solving: maximising cost efficiency, building agility, and lifting overall performance rather than optimising one function at the expense of another. By partnering closely with our clients we earn the insight that makes solutions practical — and practical solutions are the only kind that survive.
“Kwemvelo” means “from nature” in isiZulu.
Nature adapts and thrives without forcing the outcome. That is the standard we hold ourselves to: growth that is organic rather than extracted, resilience that is genuine rather than declared, and progress that aligns with the natural order of how organisations actually change.
It is also why we measure ourselves on what remains after we leave — the registers still maintained, the disciplines still followed, the people who no longer need us.
To change the business landscape by providing strategic solutions that optimise operations, drive growth and strengthen sustainability — empowering organisations with innovative strategies, actionable insight and support that does not evaporate once the engagement ends.
Empowering futures through innovative solutions — to be a beacon of change that drives sustainable growth and fosters excellence in every partnership. With a focus on innovation, integrity and collaboration, we aim to reshape industries, empower individuals and inspire positive transformation.
What we stand for
We tell clients what we actually think, including when the finding is inconvenient or the answer is that they do not need us.
Solutions are designed to hold under pressure — audits, claims, disputes and staff turnover — not only on the day they are handed over.
Strategic, sustainable, efficient growth. We optimise for the position an organisation is in three years from now, not this quarter.
Working alongside client teams rather than around them, because the insight that makes advice implementable only comes from proximity.
The team
Our consultants combine engineering, quantity surveying, law, finance and regulatory expertise to drive critical, practical and achievable outcomes.
An accomplished executive and advisory leader in infrastructure and large project businesses, with over 20 years of experience managing and implementing large-scale organisational and project change.
A seasoned project and commercial executive with wide experience in technical and construction services, and a track record of leading and delivering high-profile projects both nationally and internationally.
An experienced legal expert in contract law, commercial law, litigation and arbitration. His track record and insight anchor our Commercial Advisory offering where entitlement and dispute are in play.
An experienced senior quantity surveyor with expertise across a broad range of disciplines, having managed measurement and risk on a large array of projects.
An experienced consultant specialising in project structuring, financial modelling and project diligence, with delivery across energy, infrastructure and real estate.
A regulatory affairs leader with experience across retail, hospital and public pharmacy sectors — covering regulatory affairs, quality assurance, health economics, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory audits and engagement with SAHPRA on medicine registration.
Level 1 B-BBEE Contributor. Serious about transformation.
A Level 1 rating means our clients receive maximum recognised procurement spend — but the reason we hold it is that a majority black-owned firm developing emerging talent is the company we set out to build.
Tell us what the project looks like and we will tell you, honestly, whether we are the right team for it.
